What is Audio Joy?
The purpose of Audio Joy in a nutshell is to:
- To joyfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ
- To provide personalized resources for Christians to share their faith with unsaved and save loved ones through the theme of blessing
The Audio Joy Story
While visiting an Aunt living in a care center we sang Victory In Jesus to cheer her up a little. A beautiful peace transformed her countenance and an expression of joy on her face beamed by the recognition of a loving familiar voice. And even though we couldn’t quite see it or touch it we knew love filled the room—we felt it and fresh tears filled all our eyes. From that time on we have been busy developing the ministry of Audio Joy — providing services so you can share a blessing of encouragement to a loved one — a blessing they can hear again and again — thereby significantly improving their emotional well-being. Because even when you can’t be there they will know how much you care.
Why Create an Audio Love Note?
At the close of Life on the Edge, Dr. James C. Dobson provides an emotional word picture that the Lord used to remind us of the urgency of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. The evening of the sudden death of basketball great Pete Marivich, Dr. Dobson had an intimate conversation with his son, Ryan. He writes: “Because I am fifty-one years old and you are only seventeen, as many as fifty years could pass from the time of my death to yours. That’s a long time to remember. But you can be sure that I will be searching for you just inside the Eastern Gate. This is the only thing of real significance in your life. I care what you accomplish in the years to come, and I hope you make good use of the great potential the Lord has given to you. But above every other purpose and goal, the only thing that really matters is that you determine now to be there!”
Be there! There is a harvest field of individuals who are dying without the hope of heaven. For example, there are many seniors living in care facilities who today are no longer able to attend worship services in the community or the facility where they reside. Grateful for the many thousands of Christian volunteers who serve faithfully in the nursing home ministry -- we know many men and women never leave their room. An Audio Love note with a favortie Scripture, hymn, and a heartfelt prayer -- can be a great blessing to a lonely loved one in a faraway town.
Prayer
Please join in praying for God to be glorified through the ministry of Audio Joy. About a year ago, I believe God spoke a promise to me with a whispered “Hold On”! In addition to the obvious – Hold On – Don’t Quit, hold on to Me, just one more day, just one more minute, don’t let go… I felt His loving arms all around me and in another message of promise – it seemed a promise to GET READY for Audio Joy to launch. I catch my breath and realize I may have missed all of this if it wasn’t for the Body of Christ. Thank you for hanging in there with us through the trials and challenges of life.
I send you my love and blessings. May the blessing of the LORD be upon you, and may you know the joy of putting his name upon others. It is our great joy to pray for you. Please let us know how we can minister to you.
